Three teenagers have been arrested after a stolen car crashed into a house in Devizes, sparking an armed police response.
Police were called to reports of a vehicle being taken and driven dangerously around the town at 3.10am on Wednesday, January 10.
The drivers of the car then crashed the vehicle into a house and a lamppost in Devizes, before jumping out and running away from police.
Although the state of the car is unclear, officers confirmed that damage has been done to the house that the car crashed into.
Armed response officers responding to the scene were able to arrest one teenage boy, while two police dogs, Stan and Ross, were able to track down the other two teen suspects.
All three teenage boys have now been arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police following the incident.
The teens will remain in police custody for questioning.
Wiltshire Police are now urging anyone who has further information to get in touch.
“If you saw what happened, or have information that could help with our enquiries, please contact us on 101 quoting the reference number 54240003184,” said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
