A new salon for dogs has opened in a Wiltshire town after a hugely positive response from locals.
Following renovations to the unit and a well-attended open day, dog stylist Katie-Jayne Musgrove and her husband Matt opened the salon’s doors for the first time on Monday, February 5.
The pair have already been inundated with bookings and are fully booked for their first three weeks of business.
Mrs Musgrove, who has been grooming dogs since 2016 and previously owned a salon in Foxham, told this paper she was excited to officially open.
She said: “I was so excited to meet such a large array of breeds, some of which are seldom seen in a groomer’s career, such as an Affenpinscher, Borzoi & Bolognese.
“It (the open day) was such a lovely day and the support we have received is amazing. I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love.”
Mr Musgrove added: “The open day was a huge success, we were so overwhelmed with the support and are so thankful for it.
“Even our local councillor Liz Alstrom popped in to show her support and talk about the Artisan Quarter that our salon is part of.”
